How’s this for a brutal breakup:

Boy takes girlfriend of a year to Mexico for a romantic vacation filled with walks on the beach, margaritas and fun in the sun. Halfway through the trip, girlfriend decides it would be a good time to breakup with boy.

To add insult to injury, they proceeded to play a game she made up on the spot called “I think.” The rules of “I think” are as follows:

1. Each person takes a turn starting a sentence about the other person with, “I think…” (i.e. “I think you need to cut the cord with your mother.”)

2. The statement must be able to be backed up with some proof.

3. The game goes on until the person who initiated it has said all they need to say.

In this case, it went on for 2 hours. Yes, 2 hours of sitting in a hotel room in Mexico going back and forth telling each other all the awful things they’d thought or felt about each other, but never had the nerve to say.
