Who Has The Time For Love?
April 6th, 2006 by Marsha JamesNot many apparently. The Journal Gazette reported today that amoung the 18-29 crowd a large marjority are single and plan to stay that way, at least for the moment. People list work as the top reason they have no time for love and romance.
I do realize that in today’s world everyone cries that they have no time. No time for love, exercise, eating right, even just sitting down and relaxing. But if you stop and think about it. We don’t have to do laundry by hand, or walk miles to school or work. This is the computer generation and so many things give us more time than people had even just 30 years ago.
If no one wants to settle down with someone that’s fine considering that were also living longer than ever. But don’t give the excuse that we don’t have enough time. If you work more than 60 hours a week repeatedly, your bank account might be great,k but your heart and body and health isn’t going to thank you.
