Located in a artsy art-deco cathedral, this multi-roomed/ multi-bar club has an ambience worth dying for. With a delicious sushi bar in one of the back rooms, this bar has it all. I originally visited the Church during the Colorado Dark Arts Festival and had an incredible time at their establishment and fell in love with the ambiance. Unfortunately they don’t have goth nights in the upstairs - but rather the basement. Sunday nights they have an official Goth in the basement and hiphop up above. On Fridays, one of the rooms downstairs is Goth - and has great dancing, music, ambiance. Gets crowded, and often the techno-raver or hiphop crowd from the other rooms or upstairs will merge into the Goth room, destroying part of the ambience. THe sushi bar is ecstatic. Great smoking patio for those that smoke now that Colorado has no-smoking ban indoors. Great staff and bartenders - drink prices are a bit high. So is cover on Friday nights ($10). One sunday, during their incredible goth night, a friend of mine got her purse stolen - so watch out for some of the theiving patrons. Rating: 4 stars out of 5.
