Breaking up with your partner….

Breaking up with your partner can lead to a feeling of extreme depression, loneliness and rejection, and experiencing a void.

1) In this situation, spend as much time as possible with your friends and family. The social support system is very important. Confide in them and talk about your problems.

2) Cognitive behaviour therapy concerns itself with thinking about what worse could have happened. This helps the circumstances seem not as bad.

3) Engage in a lot of activities and keep yourself busy.

4) Explore other options! There are so many other attractive, eligible people in the world. Go meet them!

If the depression persists for more than a month, seek professional help.
