a single mom’s dating rate may not be slammin’ or her night life might no longer be so glamorous, but that is because having a baby even at a young age also brings about a new maturity and a sense of responsibility in women. even young moms tend to become more family or child oriented upon the arrival of their babies. so it laying low for the night out, gimmicks and parties. this might sound bit boring or more than a bit boring for those single party people out there, but becoming a single parent makes you realize a lot of things. besides keeping busy taking care of your young ones, there’s also the business of working out a budget for you and child’s needs. it could sound as if a single mom or parent no longer has time to enjoy and have fun but of course it’s not really like that.

there are simple pleasures that even single mom or parent would enjoy. they could certainly differ from yours.

for some of mine:

watching my child sleeping soundly after hours of playing rough, after running around the house like a hurricane is such a blessed relief. more bonding and relaxation time for us.

traveling and going to places such as the zoo, toy land, arcade houses with my little boy gives me so much excitement that each simple ride and each simple game seems like the best i had in my life.

being single gives me much time and opportunity to bond with friends, not in a rowdy gimmick night but simple coffee sessions or after lunch chats with office mates without any interruptions from a demanding partner almost makes me sigh.

such simple joys for a simple life of single mom. no frills, just plain contentment of the freedom singleness had to offer.
