afraid to be 30 and single?
August 19th, 2008 by cotton yusona lot of women seem to panic at the thought of reaching the age of 30 and are still single. it is common here in our country to be the center of attention during family get-togethers when you are still single when you reach 30’s. some say that a woman’s biological clock hastens up when one reaches 30. health-wise, its best to start a family when a woman is in her mid-20’s. not only is she mentally and emotionally stable, her body is also at her prime for birthing during this time. when one reaches 30, complications and delivery problems maybe experienced.
i used to plan my life that i’d marry when i reach 26, but i guess life has its own plans for me. i had a baby when i was 24 and now i’m 26 and really not in a hurry to settle into a married life. experience made me wary of commitments so i am now real careful in choosing a partner. i don’t think it is right to rush into relationships just because we’re nearing that dreaded 30’s. society’s thoughts on unmarried woman should not affect our decisions when it comes to issues that may risk our happiness or unhappiness. let’s not be reckless and let other’s dictate us with what we should do.
