Getting Through a Breakup

Couples break up for different reasons. The feelings we experience might differ depending on who broke up with whom, but these can include confusion, sadness or depression, stress, anger, guilt, or low self-esteem.

Breaking up is difficult for everyone, but it’s important to remember it’s not the end of the world!

If you break up with someone, try talking things through with your friends or even someone you trust in your family. Divert your attention to other things. Make yourself busy, do something different. This will eventually help you overcome the feeling of losing someone. Remember that “Time heals everything. For now you just have to concentrate on moving on and feeling good again.”
