We’ve all been there. Someone asks us out, or hits on us, and we know that we aren’t interested. But the question is, how do we turn them down without looking like a jerk? Here are some ways to make your exit.

-Try to put them off by intentionally making yourself unattractive. Pretend you are drunk, then you have an excuse to run toward the bathroom or the exit.
Pick your nose, or do something else disgusting when they are watching. Or, if you don’t mind making a fool out of yourself, hit the dance floor and get down with your “bad” self. Bad being the operative word. Dance like an idiot, on purpose.

-A few white lies never hurt anyone. Tell them you are taken, tell them you aren’t into a relationship right now, tell them you’re celibate…tell them anything that will get them out of your face.

-If white lies don’t work, it’s time to be blunt. Get your message across however you need to. Be honest with them, don’t lead them on by giving them a fake phone number, or giving them your real number and then dodging their calls and text messages.

You aren’t going to be attracted to everyone who makes a pass at you, so use these tips to get out of it.
