Being single to most means being alone and unhappy. So single people look for ways to get out of it. Some become desperate, they resort to blind dates. Blind dates especially which came from Internet dating are for me very risky. Because you do not fully know the person you are dating. It is different from blind dates which are set up by your friends or peers, because in that you can scope what are the characteristics of the person you will be dating and of course your friend won’t likely set you up with a psycho. Now comes the bar dates. Bar dates are the one’s you hook up in a bar. The one’s you confidently approach and gets a date with. Some have a negative impression of bar dates. For one, people who frequent the bar have a negative impression because they are thinking that the person is immature or alcoholic or something. But people that frequents a bar doesn’t necessarily goes there to drink their hearts out. They are there for other reasons like business meetings, just to hang out or unwind or just to get the chance to meet other persons. Bars are actually a great place to meet other people. Because in there, people are more relax, it is their time to be themselves freely. And more importantly in bar dates there are no surprises unlike blind dating, you get to choose who you will want to approach and get to know.
