Having a mate to confide in is the whole purpose in getting married. At least, that is how most people see the point in getting married, and it is for this reason that happily married couples are able to stay together. Having someone around who can keep your darkest secrets is the best thing in life, especially when you know that they love you no matter what the secret is. Being able to have a someone in your life like this is what every single person is looking forward to attaining.
That is why many single people are still not married because they have not found the person who will love them with all of their secrets. Once this type of person is found there will be more single people getting married. But until then single people will just go on dating and having fun alone while keeping their secrets to themselves because there no one is around to love unconditionally.
